You were on PEI again finally, and I was able to catch the show at the recent "Event in the Tent" at the College of Piping! And a friend was able to babysit for us! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert guys, thanks for coming to PEI, and please do come back when you're asked again! Rattlin' Bog is amazing!

| My name is David Nash. I live in Guelph, Ontario, but was born in St. John's, Newfoundland. Everytime I hear your music, I long to be back home. Thank You for keeping the love of Newfoundland close to my heart. It is the greatest place on earth. I will be coming to see you in Guelph on December 13th / 2005. I am looking forward to it. |
| Just home from a wonderfully entertaining evening at Centrepointe Theatre. First time for my daughter (age 18) and myself seeing you live and it definitely won't be our last! We love your band and can't wait until your next visit to Ottawa. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

The Irish Descendants are one of the best Irish Folk and Ballad groups that I've ever heard, They mix high-energy jigs and reels with soulful vocals and a first-class stage presence. As Far as I'm concerned they are a must see."

You guys were awsome last night at bracebridge and it wont be long till I see all of you again. I hope you come to bracebridge again or someplace close but next time I will bring a big group of people because before most of my friends never listened to or liked Irish music but after they heard you they were wishing they came. Tell Graham that I have started to play the accordian because when he plays it sounds so good. Next time you see me I would be the 15 year old with red hair. So keep playing and I will see you later.

Susan & I met 'Con' in St. John's on July 15. We were the only ones on his small tour boat. In the Quidi Vidi Harbour he told us he was going to sing a song. I thought, 'Ok know, here goes another amateur'. We were stunned by his terrific vocals & bought a CD right then & there! And, we plan to see him on tour in Ottawa in December. Anyway, well done 'Con' & keep on singing! Patrick & Susan Morris

After chatting with Randy from the Boys in the Kitchen at the Olde Dublin Pub in Charlottetown he said...."your parents were from down east go get the Irish Descendants". Well if my mother were still alive she would love it...and the songs themselves bring back oh so pleasant memories of her Nfld stories and history. One big thank you guys, I can't describe the feelings your music has evoked in me about my dear mom, thank you.Karl

I just heard about you and I would like to say that I love to play my Bodhran to your work. Keep it up, keep having fun!No matter the timing,no matter the deal, you always have time,to play a reel.If tired of playing reels, you can always play jigs, yet bearing in mind, tin whistle sound like pigs.I do not hate music, no,I play some myself,But my Bodhrans the only thing, that doesn't sit on the shelf.-M Blatz May 26 2005

Saw your show in Lake Country last night and you guys were TERRIFIC!!! Never miss the opportunity to catch your show be it in on George St,St. John's or when you're touring BC. Your music is the best representative of what Newfoundland music is all about. Each and every one of you were wonderful and Con O'Brien has a great voice. We also enjoyed Mike's Gordon Lightfoot song so very much. He certainly did a great job. A terrific evening of toe tapping delight! Barbara Kennedy (originally from Calvert, Southern Shore, Nfld.)
